  1. dont worry! i honestly think you have nothing to worry about. i even forget sometimes and nothing hapens. as long as you take them everyday they are already in your system. dont worry! trust me.

  2. I think you are fine, unless you actually skipped a day. If you are nursing, you are going to have very irratic periods, if even you have a period at all…. So you can sleep well, you might take a test just to reassure yourself that all is well. :)

i heard you can't get pregnant just by breastfeeding only, that what happens to all my family girls when they breastfeed.

  4. as long as you have been taking it within 12 hours of your usual time you will be fine. But its a bit worrying as to why you havent had a period especially as you are on the pill as that regulates it. Go and see your doctor

  5. The period factors in a great deal. If not, most likely you are safe. The minipill itself allows for a possibility of 20% of users to get pregnant. I have a 9 1/2 month old, whom I have breast fed since birth, I have also been taking the mini pill, but not quite so faithfully (MANY forgotten pills) so far I have not gotten pregnant and we have been very active, taking no other precautions. Most likely you are not and will not get pregnant, but you can always take home tests, or take ovulation test to monitor your cycle. Good Luck! Hope this gives you comfort.

My daughter is 10wks 1 day old. I have been breastfeeding since birth and am also taking the mini pill. I do not take the pill the same time everyday and my boyfriend and I are very active sexually. I tend to worry every now and then but I have faith in the pill, although nothing is 100%.

If you haven't started your period yet, it could just be from breastfeeding. Some women don't get their periods while breastfeeding. (I was not that fortunate) You do have to be careful with the mini pill, and I don't believe it is as good as the regular pills. It is just not as strong, therefore you have to be more care full. If you are worried you may be pregnant, then have your OBGYN do a blood test. Home prego tests are no use in this kind of situation. Blood tests are much more accurate.

I hope this helps to answer your question

  8. You are probably not pregnant because your period has not returned yet (of course you ovulate before you get it, so it is possible.) I got my period back when my daughter was 8 months, though I know this varies from woman to woman. Just because you never know when your period is going to come back, the mini pill is a precautionary measure at first. If you do return to fertility, the success of the mini pill does depend on taking it at the same time everyday (within a 3 hour window). While with the combined pill you can even miss a day or take it at different times of the day, the mini pill can become ineffective with variation. Of course there would be a lot of times when you'd be fine anyway, because it's not in your ovulation window.

Chances are you are not pregnant.

    Best of luck!

  9. I feel the same way and get worried… I am not always good at taking my pill (Loestrin 24f) at the same time each day… but I am breastfeeding. I have been told by many that you aren't likely going to get pregnant if you are breastfeeding because breastfeeding removes that hormone from your body.. which is why many people don't have a period at all. I have gotten my period, but it was in the middle of the pill cycle.. had me worried. But I took a pregnancy test and wasn't pregnant. Periods are not regular while you breastfeed.

  10. I think it depends on how fertile you are, I was solely breastfeeding, never got my period, taking the mini pill and got pregnant when my son was 10 months old! My OB said the mini pill is less effective than the regular pill, and just because you don't have a period doesn't mean you can't concieve!!! Use condoms as well if you REALLY don't want to get pregnant.
