  1. When doctors decide on what medicine to give you, they weight the pro’s and con’s of the medicine. Also when you say that is can be harmful this means that they did a test and most likely 1 out of 400,000 babies had something wrong when they were born, even if it had nothing to do with the medicine they still have to put that caution on there. If you don’t treat it your going to be in pain and i don’t recommend doing that. Talk to your doctor but again he knows your pregnant and if he thought it would hurt the baby he wouldn’t give it to you in the first place. Good Luck!

    I am in my 22nd week and I too have come down with a yeast infection. It’s dang miserable! Miconazole is fine to use during pregnancy. Your doctor would not have prescribed it if it was not safe. If you go untreated the infection could get worse! Trust me.. Use the cream and within a few days you will be better.

    wow i am ten weeks pregnant and have one too my doc gave me Terconazole Vaginal Cream(7-Days) it great for pregnant moms to use ask ur doc about it!!! Maybe he can give u more information on it good luck! oh when are u due

    i was about 10 weeks when i got a yeast infection.. i called my doctor and she said just to use the over the counter meds. (the three day, not the one) i did it and everything is fine.
