Initially I had it from the increased blood flow - your kidneys function better and so you pee more. That lasted weeks 4-10. THEN you bladder starts getting squooshed. That usually starts (atleast it did for me) around 20 weeks. It gets worse the farther along you get.
Well, seeing as I just got back from the restroom this is an appropriate question for me to answer I'm 7 almost 8 weeks and I've been having to pee constantly for the past couple of weeks. I've actually gotten up 2 times a night to go. It's even worse now that I'm drinking more water. And yes, sometimes I pee less that what I feel like I have to.
My symptoms started around 3 months, then stopped until the 6th month or so and then I frequented the ladies room so much I should have camped out in there
Often the urge feels more significant than the output because your body rearranges inside to make room for baby, so this may put more pressure on your bladder. As the baby grows (especially in the 3rd trimester), it is not uncommon for the baby to lay on your bladder in a way that pushes right down the middle, so you cannot empty your bladder until the baby readjusts or possibly until you have been lying down for awhile.
It could be that the baby is pushing on your bladder, yes I felt that right at a month in sometimes babies just push on different organs, but , I had a question for you, how do you know it is not a kidney infection? did the doctor tell you that you did not have and infection? I would suggest taking in more water if you feel like you are not putting out enough, maybe you are dehydrated is why you are not producing enough urine.
I'm 4 weeks pregnant and having to get up at 2 am and go to the bathroom. Plus I'm a server and it irritates me to the bone that I have to go in between taking care of my tables and going every 5-10 minutes. Oh the Joys of Pregnancy!

I started urinating frequently immediatly after we conceived. And now it's the beginning of my sixth week and I'm peeing constantly!!

Hope this is helpful. Good Luck!!!
