Having regular sex is the best way to get pregnant. Couples often try to time everything perfectly for ovulation but do not have sex when they think they are not ovulating. It is true that sex that is not within the time of ovulation will not result in pregnancy. However, because women do not always ovulate when they think they will, having sex three times a week will help to a woman cover her bases, so to speak, and not miss an opportunity to get pregnant.
I’d say every other day….sperm can live for 3-5 days in your uterus so, having sex every other day will replenish the supply and increase your chances. Good luck!
my doctor told me every 3 days, but my husband and i did it every second day anyway, and fell pregnant straight away. definitely not every day, you have to preserve the quality of his sperm and allow it to build back up a bit in between.
I am actually TTC right now and what my fertility specialist told me was to have sex on days 10 12 14 16 18 20…some ovulate early and some ovulate later…it doesnt matter when you have sex on any of the other days but try these ones…the thing about sperm is that it can live a couple of days so if you have sex on day 12 and not on day 14 when you ovulated you could still get pregnant. My cycle is 28 days.. so you could maybe start a little later and continue for a few more days! Hope that helps and if not seek medical advice.
Every second day if you do have sex every day it will lower the sperm count of your partner and you don’t want that to happen if you want to get pregnant.I have also heard that sperm is at it’s freshest in the mornings.Good luck ttc!!!!
